The Sports Universe Complex in Livingston, NJ was developed with the sole mission of providing the most innovative, age appropriate youth sports programming available anywhere.

Over the past 15 years, the Sports Universe concept has evolved from a group of educators traveling New Jersey teaching sports classes in backyards, camps and school facilities, to New Jerseys’ premier sports programming curriculum. Our unique approach was developed through research with child psychiatrists, educators and athletes who provided us with feedback on what would best stimulate and assist the growth of children. We wanted to make sure that each one of our programs was specifically designed to provide athletic skill building, improve coordination, increase conditioning, boost confidence, teach rules and structure, game strategies and promote fair play.

All of the Sports Universe staff have been trained on our philosophy and training methods to provide a synergistic, fun and educational environment. Our staff is comprised of industry leading educators and sports trainers who are experts in their respective sport. We strive to hire only the best at their craft, which includes being approachable, kid-friendly and knowledgeable while running an informative and educational kids program. All of our staff have gone through a thorough background check with state and federal agencies as well.

Our classes are designed to be age-specific, which allows each child to develop and learn around kids of similar age and skill level. Our curriculum provides a platform so that every child excels in a team environment, while focusing on their own individual skills along the way. Our classes are designed for kids of all athletic and social skill levels and every class incorporates skill building, aerobic activity, knowledge and sportsmanship.

Our leagues are designed for all age levels and all athletic abilities. We focus on real game play, provide a true sport experience, while overlaying instruction in a really fun environment. All of our coaching is done by the Sports Universe staff.

We are different than many kids sports facilities in the area. We are integrated with most of the local pre-school, elementary school, day camps and township recreation programs, which provides us with a unique ability to interact with your children from a very young age, all the way through 14 years old. With programming beginning at the age of 18 months, many times your children will see our staff weekly, and we feel this provides your children with an additional level of confidence and comfort, knowing there are familiar faces during the day.

The Sports Universe facility offers the most diverse sports programing in the area. Since we offer such a large variety of sports programming at a young age, our coaches get a deep understanding of how each child is developing and allows us to provide parents feedback and guidance on what their child shows the most interest in. Through this learning process, we can take a child from an entry-level sport of their interest, to one of our exciting leagues, private sports training all the way to travel teams.
